What you should know
Being a budget guitar you cannot expect to be like a high end Les Paul in every detail. Knobs could be better and so do the pickups. All of these things would impact on the final price for sure, but they can easily be replaced or customized later on. A lot of people buy this guitars instead of more expensive ones and with the money they save they change parts according to their own taste. Is much more important to look at the basics of a guitar when making a choice, and in that department the AL-2000 still excels.
If you live outside the states, Rondo Music provides international shipping, but it’s mandatory to include a hard case in the order. Still including the case and shipping most of the time is cheaper than most of the guitars from competitor brands.
Conclusion
Depending on the model you choose they are perfect for rock, hard rock, blues and metal. Also you have the option of a more eclectic floyd rose Les Paul model. Also, classics will love the goldtop with P-90s.
All in all there are not many guitars like the Agile AL-2000 in this price range. I keep hearing the phrase (“Entry level guitar”)about the AL-2000 .No this is not an entry level guitar.I have played many expensive guitars.I have owned a few myself. No it’s not a Gibson.It’s not an Epiphone. So if you really need that brand name on your headstock to play better go for it.I think It’s like designer jeans you could be obese and still look awful in a tight pair of skinny jeans. Tone is in the fingers. This is not a cheap guitar it is an inexpensive guitar.A quality product. Well made sounds great. Cheap guitars fall apart.Quality is what you get when you buy an Agile AL-2000 made in Korea. I just bought a 2000… so I guess I did it in reverse order.
I’ve bought a 3000, a Valkyrie, a heavy fender clone (forget the number, but it was the best Agile) and now this 2000.
They were all good, in their own way. They are, after all, well made axes.
